1Mission is
a Gold Nugget Award (Pacific Coast Building Conference
2010)-winning mixed-use, five-story mid-rise in the
heart of Mission Hills. Designed by M.W. Steele Group
and built by Turner Construction the project brings
together the thorough restoration of a turn-of-the century
commercial block and a new five-story residential building
with 61 residences and 5,150 retail square feet. 1Mission
includes 114,000 gross square feet of residential space.
The project features 13 two-story town homes with street-level
entrances and 48 single-level flats. There are more
than 30 different floor plans, ranging from one-bedroom/one-bath
to three-bedroom/three-bath, and ranging in size from
1,057 square feet to 2,671 square feet. Total construction
costs were $33.3 million.
