This project
included the design and construction of a fully functional
and state-of-the-art stage house and related facilities,
site work, handicap accessibility improvements and parking
for the City of Vista. The stage house boasts a 38’
deep and 88’ wide stage with a 60’ tall
fly loft and a proscenium opening of 48’ width
and 26’ height. The amphitheater features 899
permanent seats and lawn seating for about 1,200. The
project was designed by RNT Architects and constructed
by Sundt Construction Company. Construction was completed
in early 2009 at a total cost of $11.5 million. The
project replaced the Moonlight Theatre's existing stage
area and related facilities. |
