Hotel room,
restaurant and seismic improvements to the Historic
Site registered seven-story Park Manor Suites Hotel,
designed and built in 1925 by Architect Frank P. Allen,
Jr. All work was done while the hotel remained in operation.
The project included room finish and ADA improvements,
a new elevator to the seventh floor, upgrades to the
existing elevators, and complete reconstruction of the
top floor restaurant, kitchen, bar, and exterior view
deck of Balboa Park, San Diego Bay and downtown San
Diego. The project was designed by CCBG Architects Inc.
and renovated by Roel Construction. Total project costs
were $3 million. |
